What is "nerdnc"?
This is a site for area North Carolina women and men (around college age and older), RPG role-playing games and gamers, board gamers, and folks of various mixed ecclectic interests (local music, coffee, spirituality, cultures and international issues, health, indie and mainstram film, computers, personal management, anime and all sorts of crazy stuff). No "funny stuff" here, just the love of games.
Most of us are gamers. All of us are nerds.
This site is geared towards gathering all the area gaming groups into one grand staging area where they can easily find interesting events (gaming related, culture related) and meetups. Historically, there's been lots of little, small isolated groups scattered all over the Triangle. This is a group to organize the larger of these groups together.
This group is primarily to organize and push gaming and other local events in the Triangle aka "RDU" region of North Carolina: Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, Cary, RTP, etc for now. We'd like to post links to area groups in other areas of this great state, so if you belong to any of these groups, contact us!
